How to port Android apps to Playbook
This is a basic guide for installing Android apps on your Playbook.
Prerequisites:
*Make sure your Playbook is running the latest OS. Currently I am running 2.0.
*Make sure Java runtime environment is installed on your computer
*Install DDPB , this is needed to install the apps to your Playbook
Download DDPB Here
On your Playbook, Click on Settings, then Security then Development Mode
Turn on Development Mode and also make note of the Development Address, you will need it later.
Create a password.
Connect Playbook to computer via a USB cable, your playbook screen should look like this.
Start the DDPB application on your computer and click scan.
The Playbook IP Address should resemble that in Development mode.
Insert password.
Click Connect.
Click Add.
Click install. Once the app is finished installing, click ok and you are done.
